  • Tungsten Halogen Light Sources

Tungsten halogen light sources use lamps similar to those used in conventional low voltage downlights. Being less energy efficient than a discharge lamp, they produce less light for a given Wattage but are more compact and cooler running.

  • Metal Halide Light Sources

Metal halide light sources use a discharge lamp which is much brighter than the equivalent Wattage of halogen lamp due to their higher efficiency. These light sources are used when a brighter, punchier light is required.
